RE: "SEC | S20W4 | Google Sheets features and functionality (Creating Forms & Sheets)
This task is best done with a laptop and not a phone and if I used a phone to get to this level, I think I deserve a better grade!
Checking through your work I noticed you manually inputed everything without making use of the formula which means that you didn't do the homework as expected. When a post link is dropped it should fetch the username, country and club and that is the main aim of the database. Please try to make more research and use your initiative when applying the formula.
Your comment here Sir means that you didn't go through my work thoroughly. I mentioned that the formula you presented to us wasn't working in my sheet. From my screenshot, you can see that the formula for Author worked perfectly and as soon as the link was placed, the name appeared. I struggled with that of club and country, the formulas still gave me error, which means that the formula you gave was wrong for me. I don't think you understood the fact that I used a phone to do this task. I used my initiatives well, and I researched as much as I could but unfortunately, I didn't arrive at the peak. Maybe my teacher would try to be more detailed in his lessons probably my initiatives would work perfectly then...
I am grateful that you are here to give me the basic knowledge on spreadsheets and I am happy to learn from you. Thank you for the assessment
Have you asked yourself the reasons why we asked everyone to give access to those emails?
None of the formula you applied worked because I copied a link of an author you added on you database and placed on the sheet yet it didn't generate even the author's name which you claimed worked for you.
The formula I gave was a guide and provided there is a change in your cell address you must also change the formula.
I think you shouldn't have written this comment here because, others as you can see didn't complain instead they presented excellent 👌 work.
You are supposed to use my comment as means to work harder and not telling me that you did your best with your phone. Both phone and system works perfectly for this task.
The comment I made was because you asked me to use my initiatives. It was an insult to me, you should have found a better word to address me through your comment, but you chose to condemn all I tried to do.
I know it is not a must to participate in this homework task, but I chose to because I want to learn. You are a teacher, and to encourage your students, there are good words to use and not to condemn someone's effort.
If others did not complain, that is because they used a laptop and it was so easy for them. When there is a change in cell, I changed the formula, I am not so dumb if you think I am.
Your comment was a total discouragement! But trust me, I don't easily give up.
I never meant anything bad when I said you should use your initiative. I just wanted you to work harder.
Go through the first review comment and tell me where I condemned all you tried to do. I haven't edited the comment thanks to God.
If saying you should use your initiative is condemning you then I'm sorry and sincerely apologize. What I wanted from you when I used that word was that you should put in more effort.
I haven't call you dumb and I think you are over reacting on this. If you have a personal issues with me please do well to tell me about it, you mustn't bring everything here on Steemit.
Please go back to the comment and read again. In my conclusion I said overall you have attempted all questions to the best of your knowledge and your effort is appreciated but you need to put in more hardwork as you did not present to us what we really wanted on the task.
Now tell me from the above comment how did I discourage you. Please I want to still apologize if you feel insulted when I said you should use your initiative. I didn't mean any harm.
I don't have a personal issue with you Sir. I felt really hurt with those words "use your initiative." It was harsh for me and sounded more like a discouragement and a condemn. It hurt me. It's like all my efforts were all in vain.
