Lakers might be better tonite than you think...

Rockets SHOULD win by 40 points, but as a "fun pick" we like betting a MINIMUM amount on Lakers +14.5 to win.
Reasoning...?

#1 CAPELA IS OUT! That's AWFUL for Houston.
#2 Lopez stinks, and he's out, and replaced by more Nance and Randle and Bogut, and that's ALL good for Lakers.
#3 KCP not playing is a loss, but Josh Hart and more Kuzma/Nance time in his place isn't going to hurt the Lakers much
#4 Ball's shooting has improved since beginning of year

All that said, we still like Houston by a ton, but just think Lakers might catch Rockets napping a bit, and make this game tighter than Houston expects at HOME.

Lakers play with a LOT of energy, and that means they can apply pressure on any given night to even the best of teams-- see last GSW game.
