Picking Charlotte Hornets Over the Miami Heat

Miami has already beaten the Hornets twice this season but something feels different about this 3rd meeting. Hornets are hot going 3-1 in their last 4 and 5-2 in their last 7. The Heat meanwhile have cooled a bit after their 7 game winning streak ended. They are 1-2 in their last 3. Hornets seem to be playing with more urgency since their coach Steve Clifford came back and rumors of a full rebuild have circulated around this team if the Hornets don't improve their record pronto. Couple that with Goran Dragic of the Heat being questionable for this game and I'm leaning towards Hornets.
My pick is the Charlotte Hornets ML.

Hornets down by 9 (57-48) at the half. I can't believe how bad my NBA picks have been lately...
So far it looks like I'm wrong again. Even without Dragic, Heat are leading Hornets 51-46 nearing the end of the first half.
Final result was Miami won 106-105. Hornets lost leading by 10 heading into the 4Q. SMH.
