Pakistan's Mohammad Omar Khan suffered a defeat in the semi-finals of the World U-16 Snooker Championship. Hungary's Balsu Reeves defeated National Junior Quest 1-4 in the World Junior event in the Russian city of Temen, but despite failing to compete for the finals, Omar Khan's bronze medal. Another Pakistani player, Hamza Ilyas, was defeated in the pre-quarterfinals.
