极限熨衣的出现极大的改变了熨衣服的枯燥无味，也将熨衣服完完全全的从室内解放出来，与大自然亲密接触。

该项运动虽然创办只有17年，但是却吸引了来自世界各地的极限爱好者参与其中，并且还在慕尼黑举办过极限熨衣大赛。目前极限熨衣在新西兰，美国，南非等地有着分赛场。

该项运动或许真的太惊险刺激，2003年的时候还上过英国广播电视台的《挑战体能》节目，也让极限熨衣成为一项家喻户晓的运动。

世界之大无奇不有，人类的脑洞太大了，总是选择一些非常复杂的环境挑战极限熨衣。这也是对大自然，对自我的一种挑战，一种突破。
