Esports Is Still Not Being Accepted As Official Event In Olympic 2024
According to the latest announcement from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) yesterday - there were supposed to add these 4 sports: break dance, skateboarding, rock climbing and surfing into the competition events.
However, after a final decision - the IOC decided to drop all these 4 sports from Olympic 2024, which is going to be held at Paris, France!
Alongside with those 4 sports, esports was one of the few that being considered to be added into the Olympic 2024 (unfortunately, the game itself is too new and not being accepted as one of the official Olmypic's games)
France is one of the countries in the world famous for the production of Parkour - many of the Parkour aka freerunners also very familiar with break dance.
In this case, the IOC might be giving another chance to accept break dance into the newest Olympic's event.

I am definitely an avid watcher of esports, specifically smash and MTG: Arena, but I really don't think esports should be in the olympics. Esports and sports are barely comparable past the superficial comparison that they are competitions played by people a train at a preexisting game. However, compared to actual athletes, the amount of dedication put into esports is honestly kind of disrespectful in comparison. Olympic athletes usually spend their entire lives training their craft, while the games that are featured in esports are only a few years old.
奥运会运动员并没有用一生来训练他们的技能的，除了射击类项目，其他的运动员通常也会在三十岁之前退役。在投入量这一点上电子竞技运动员和其他运动员并没有任何区别，他们的训练量也很大，他们也会受伤，他们也会为了更高，更快，更强而努力，他们的体育精神同样值得敬佩。所以我认为电子竞技也有进入奥运会的资格。
嗯，看了韩国那些电竞运动员，他们的生活过度规律，看了都不由自主地敬佩他们
