Benfica have completed the signing of Julian Weigl from Borussia Dortmund. The signing which is worth €20 million is for a four and half years duration, and of course with a €100 million release clause in his contract.
Weigl joined Borussia Dortmund in 2015 and showed brilliant play especially in his first three seasons, from which time he has reportedly become a target for many of Europe's biggest clubs, including Manchester City, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain due to his swift passing skills and eye-catching style of play.

The highly rated striker, Erling Braut Haaland has completed his move from Red Bull Salzburg to Borussia Dortmund, who also paid the release clause of €22.5m. This new contract keeps in Dortmund until 30 June 2024 while Salzburg will be entitled to a percentage of any future sale.
Haaland scored 17 goals for Salzburg in 16 league matches, after joining from Molde in January 2019. He also amazingly scored eight goals in six Champions League matches. Manchester United were so interested in signing the 19 year old, but had to give it up due to conditions made by his advisor and his father.
