Frank Lampard wasted no time in sending some players home after the first preseason
According to source from the pre-season training camp in Dublin, the Chelsea gaffer has closed access the team and made his first selection who then play draw in the clash with Bohemians. I always knew he will have to send some players home as some of the senior members resume training as he cannot have them all in the training camp.
Players sent home includes, Trevoh Chalobah, Conor Gallagher, Lewis Baker, Izzy Brown and Ike Ugbo, Marc Guehi, Lucas Piazon, Dujon Sterling.
Some of the players will be sent out on Loan while others will remain at the club or be sold out on a permanent basis depending on the players wishes.
However, Conor Gallagher was voted Chelsea’s academy player of the year and impressed during his run-out against Bohemians. So he might just be kept by sending on Loan to improve more.
