Gilas Pilipinas coach Yeng Guiao said their overall strength was disappointing.

"Of course we're disappointed," Guiao said in an interview with Spin.ph.

“Of course, what, we have lessons to learn here in our experience. And at the same time, I guess it's time to re-evaluate our position. ”

Guiao said he would make recommendations to the country's basketball superintendent based on his lessons learned from their vicious campaign in China.

Guiao said he was to blame for what happened to them and he did not want his players to be ridiculed with scorn and remorse.

Guiao said that before the Gilas Philippines can take on the world stage, it must first overcome Asia.
