This really was a suprise sale. Chelsea are struggling financially I think and I wonder about the politics and sanctions against Russia and their Russian owner Abramovich. I am sure there are things going on behind the scenes.
He is however getting old and I think Chelsea are shrewd to get rid of him now and at least get some money back.
We will see how it works out this season!
