Have you or anyone else here every tried the sonic cleaners? I've been thinking of getting one just for their versatility in cleaning other things and parts as well. Just haven't heard much direct feedback yet from folks that I know directly.

I have one but I don’t feel it gives a decent clean for cases. I use it for parts sometimes but mostly it sits unused except when my wife wants to clean her jewellery. I wouldn’t waste money on a new one. Maybe find a used one and see how you go.

Thanks for your insight. I was a little suspicious when reading some of the online manuals, and many of them said "If not clean enough the first time, run through another cycle". I don't really mind have to run it through two cycles, but would certainly expect nice and shiny like yours afterwards. Anyone else have different opinions or one that works exceptionally well? I'll be using mostly for large cases, .338 Lapua magnum, 7mm Magnum.
I got my sonic from someone who didn't feel it worked well enough and to be honest none of my mates use sonic for anything but parts cleaning. Works well for that, removing some oil for instance, just not for heavy carbon deposits. I'd steer clear. Check out the stainless media.

Thanks for that info. I'm not quite ready to make the jump either way yet. I do like the idea of stainless media more than the old walnut husk methods. I've just been reloading and shooting them dirty for years, which is still way more accurate than factory, but thought I may step up my game a bit.
I got sick of all the dust off the dry media...Cost kept me using it for a while but I stepped up almost 3 years ago and am glad. When you see brass come out of the stainless...It's so damned clean! You'll get there though. Gotta prioritise.
