Bruno Fernandes scored, but Sporting lost in the first pre-season game

Sporting started with the left foot the new season with a defeat against modest Rapperswil Jona.

Sporting lost with modest Rapperswil Jona 2-1 in what was the first test of the lions in the preseason. Bruno Fernandes opened the scoring in the first half, but the Swiss team came back in the second half with goals from Jordan Gele and Merlin Hadzi.

The next game will be on Saturday, July 13, against St. Gallen, sixth in the last edition of the Swiss championship.
