Monstrous Friday night for James Harden
James Harden went berserk in Houston’s preseason win over Miami.
The reigning NBA scoring champion scored 44 points, 7 assists, 5 steals, 5 rebounds and went 10-26 fieldgoal in the final game of the preseason stopping the Heat from going 5-0. He played for 35 minutes.
"James was ridiculous. That's the way he's wired. He loves to play. I couldn't take him out in the fourth quarter if I wanted to. He'd play 48 if he could," D'Antoni said.
Harden makes 8 3-pointers to beat the Miami Heat 144-133 in both team's preseason game. We'll see if this version of James Harden will be the best ever for the Houston Rockets this season. It could be tough for him to top what he did two seasons ago.
Meanwhile, Houston Rockets' final preseason game Friday night didn't go smoothly as Russell Westbrook suffered dislocated fingers on his right hand and left the game. He finished with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists on 6-of-13 shooting in 26 minutes.
Houston finished 4-2 in the preseason.
