Woow, Not everything last for long as they say, The Yankees as Fired Larry Rothschild after 9 season with the team.
Good Move or Right Move
For me this was a good move, Happ went from Ace to getting shelled. Paxton went from Ace to being a 4.x ERA pitcher. Sonny Gray went to Cincy and became an Ace immediately in one of the most hitter friendly parks in the league. Ottavino went from stellar to crap. Britton went from stellar to mediocre.
All signs point to the pitching coach being the problem. Larry is a great guy though but to me I think this was a good move by the Yankees
who knows Yankees will probably now scoop up Callaway😄

So he is the one hung out in the wind for the front office not acquiring good starting pitching.
I guess someone had to take the fall. The Yankees didnt have the starting pitching to compete with the top teams.
It is surprising they got as far as they did.
He was with the team for a decade which is amazing too.
