The biggest premier league fixture of the week kicked off yesterday at the Theatre of Dreams, Old Trafford. Manchester United vs Arsenal has always drawn a lot of attention and it wasn't any different prior to the game yesterday. So many expectations in terms of the tactics of both managers and the lineup of both teams. As usual for any fixture of this magnitude, excitements, tension, uncertainties, predictions always crowd the atmosphere and the atmosphere during the game was nothing different. Like we know, outcome of big matches like this can go either way like we have seen in previous clashes in the past.

The Red Devils have been down the hill when it comes to form this season and a lot of questions have been asked concerning if they will be better than last season. They have added some quality names to the squad this season, but haven’t looked any better in overall performances and their results so far. The red devils have won more games against Arsenal than they have lost against the Gunners. Manchester United at home regardless on their form has always been a difficult ground for Arsenal in past and their game yesterday showed once again how difficult it is for them to lose against Arsenal at home.

Notwithstanding, Manchester United has a pretty good game against Arsenal and were mostly the stronger side as the final stats shows. Looking at the final stats of the game, we can see that Manchester United had more shots, more possession, more passes and more pass accuracy.

It has been quite a long time since Arsenal beat Manchester United at Old Trafford and yesterday proved to be no different as they once again failed to beat their rival at their ground. The Gunners have not been all that great this season, but they can brag to be better than their rival so far this season. A tough game it was for Arsenal as expected at Old Trafford as they had to come back from a goal down to snatch a draw against Manchester United. Not a result to jump about in excitement but they will gladly take this result and be happy to have walked away from Old Trafford with a good point. From the stats, they only managed more shots on target in this game.

Manchester United took the lead through a fine strike from McTominay but The Red Devils could prevent Arsenal from getting their goal too, Aubameyang was the goal scorer for Arsenal. The game ended 1-1 at Old Trafford. A Good game as both teams showed good performances and desire to win the game, however, a draw was a fair result to end the final fixture of premier league matchday seven as they both look forward to their respective European fixtures coming up this week.
