Northport Batang Pier ended their four-games skid as they stopped Phoenix Fuel Masters.

Finally Nortport Batang Pier ended their four-games of lossing in the PBA Governor's Cup as they dominated Phoenix Fuel Master by 70-80 with 10 points lead. Northport start this conference struggling on their both offence and defence finally adjust their game as they stay on top when the regular clock ends over the Phoenix Fuel Masters.

On the start of the game Northport attacking and hitting the baskets impressively that leads them to an 8 points lead advantage on the end of the firat period of the ball game,Northport maintain na balance on their defence and sttack to protect their lead until the first half ends.

When the second half opened both teams exchanges run but the Fuel Masters rallied a 7 to nothing run that cuts the lead to three, 58-55 before heading to the fourth and last quarter.On the opening of the fourth quarter Fuel Master starts quickly on the game with 2 three points and turned the game as they lead by 1 point 60-61 but the Northport quickly answers and rallied an 8-0 run to regained back their lead.

Even the games was heated and both squad are getting physical Northport did not let their team chemistry to distruct the physicality of the game and continued dominating and control the game until they claimed their victory with 70-80.Northport now is on the 8th place with 2 wins and 4 losses while Fuel Masters are down to 9th spot with 2 wins and 5 losses.
