The Gilas Pilipinas campaign ended in the FIBA World Cup after defeating Iran 95-75 in the classification phase.
As a result of the defeat, they are in the final group in the classification group with 32 seats in the final ranking.
Gilas is no longer in the Olympic Qualifying Tournament as only the top 16 will enter eight qualifiers to compete in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Gilas Pilipinas can only participate in one of four OQTs when FIBA selects a wildcard slot.
