Tunisia defeated Gilas 86-65

African champion Tunisia beat Gilas Pilipinas 86-65 in their bid for the 2019 FIBA World Cup classification game.

Just the start of the game, Gilas suffered a shock defeat as Tunisia secured a 6-0 start.

Dallas Mavericks reserves Salah Mejri and Makram Ben Rhamdane lead but Tunisia's highest scorer was Omar Adada who scored 16 points while naturalized player Michael Roll had 13 points.

Tunisia still scored 28 points and Gilas only lowered the score in the last quarter.

Gilas coach Yeng Guiao admitted they could not keep up with Tunisia's defense.

Andray Blatche achieved 24 points while Troy Rosario had 9 points.
