Chelsea surprised a lot of football fans yesterday. After their encounter with Manchester United, a lot of people had expected Liverpool to trash them, but it turned out to be a lucky win for Liverpool. Yes, Chelsea lost but they got applauds from lots of their fans still. The game ended 1 - 1 in ninety minutes and two more goals were scored in the extra time to make it 2 - 2. Liverpool won in the penalty shootouts making them lift the trophy. Chelsea played their fourth UEFA Super Cup final yesterday and has won only one, the first one they played.

Giroud opened the goals with a great strike in the 36th minute. He got a lovely pass from Pulisic and they made several attempts to make it 2 - 0; if that had happened, they might have won it, we never can tell. Sadio Mane equalized for Liverpool in the 48th minute and no goals were scored till the match ended. Since it's a final match final, an extra time was needed. Mane stroked again in the 95th minute and Jorginho equalized in the 101th minute.

Well, both teams played their penalties well. Only Tammy Abraham lost his and that gave Liverpool the edge.
