sportsphotography - the soccer game

In Autumn last year i did some photography of a soccer game of a local soccer group together wit a friend of mine who has a friend play ing at the Luftenberg team. Luftenberg is also now the home where my mother lives together with my stepfather. For me this was one of the few first trys in sports photography, i knew i had to freeze the action somehow so i need a fast shutter speed. Therefore i bumped up the ISO to 2000 and set my camera to manual to get as fast as possible exposures of the game. It worked out pretty well in the end and i was really satisfied how good this worked. Even with my old Nikon D5100.

With the comfort of my 150-600mm i didn't need to move around a lot in the field because i could zoom pretty well. But still i had to get in the spot of the action to catch the best perspectives. Therefore i had to run up and down the field. I shared the field with a friend of mine so i only had to take care of one half of the field. After the game i was pretty exhaused from all the running, because i wasn't used to run for 45 minutes up and down.
