দুই উইকেট পেলেই যে রেকর্ড ছোঁবেন সাকিব
দেরাদুনের রাজীব গান্ধী স্টেডিয়ামে আজ আফগানিস্তানের মুখোমুখি হবে বাংলাদেশ। রাত সাড়ে আটটার এ ম্যাচের আগে বাংলাদেশ একটু দুশ্চিন্তায় আছে। টি-টোয়েন্টি র্যাঙ্কিংয়ে আফগানিস্তান বাংলাদেশ থেকে দুই ধাপ এগিয়ে। প্রস্তুতি ম্যাচেও আফগানিস্তান ‘এ’ দলের কাছে আট উইকেটের বিশাল পরাজয় মেনে নিতে হয়েছে সাকিব-মুশফিকদের। এসব শঙ্কা উড়িয়ে দিতে সাকিব আল হাসানকেই দায়িত্ব নিতে হবে।
এমন ম্যাচে অবশ্য দারুণ এক অনুপ্রেরণা নিয়েই নামবেন সাকিব। আর মাত্র দুটি উইকেট, আর দুটি উইকেট হলেই বিশ্বের তৃতীয় ক্রিকেটার হিসেবে আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রিকেটে ১০,০০০ রান এবং ৫০০ উইকেট নেওয়ার ‘এলিট ক্লাবে’ নাম উঠবে সাকিবের। জ্যাক ক্যালিস এবং শহীদ আফ্রিদি ছাড়া এই রেকর্ড আর কোনো ক্রিকেটার করে দেখাতে পারেননি।
সাকিবকে অবশ্য এদিক দিয়ে সেরাদেরও সেরা বলা যেতেই পারে। আফ্রিদি এবং ক্যালিসের রেকর্ডটি ছুঁতে ৫০০টি আন্তর্জাতিক ম্যাচ খেলতে হয়েছে। অন্যদিকে সাকিবের এটি হবে মাত্র ৩০০তম ম্যাচ! সাকিবের আইপিএল সতীর্থ লেগ স্পিনার রশিদ খানও আছেন এক অর্জনের সামনে। আফগানদের মূল অস্ত্র রশিদের প্রয়োজন মাত্র এক উইকেট। আর একটি উইকেট হলেই টি-টোয়েন্টিতে দ্রুততম ৫০ উইকেট নেওয়ার গৌরব অর্জন করবেন এই ক্রিকেটার।
