The 45th Match of the Big Bash League 2022-23 was played today at International Sports Stadium, Coffs Harbour. In which Sydney Sixers defeated Adelaide Strikers by 59 runs.
Adelaide Strikers won the toss and opt to bowl first, Sydney Sixers batted first started the inning very brilliantly, althought the first wicket has gone very quickly, Josh Philippe and Steven Smith came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone very quickly just for 3 runs in in third ball of the the first over, Josh Philippe dismissed just for 1 run, next batsman Kurtis Patterson came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnership of 149 runs with Steven Smith, the second wicket has gone for 152 runs in 15.2 over, Kurtis Patterson dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 43 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boundaries in just 33 balls, next batsman Moises Henriques came to bat, meanwhile the third wicket in the next bal, Steven Smith dismissed after playing a very brilliant quick century inning of 101 runs with the help of 7 sixes and 5 boundaries in just 56 balls, followed by Jordan Silk came to bat, meanwhile the fourth wicket has gone for 157 runs in first ball of the 17th over, Moises Henriques dismissed just for 4 runs, next batsman Daniel Christian came to bat and handled the inning with Jordan Silk, the fifth wicket has gone for 203 runs in final ball of the inning, Daniel Christian dismissed for 15 runs in 8 balls, and Jordan Silk played a very brilliant unbeaten quick inning of 31 runs with the help of 1 six and 3 boundaries in just 16 balls. In this way, Sydney Sixers scored 203 runs after just 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and set a strong target of 204 runs for Adelaide Strikers.
