Senegal vs Columbia
Earlier on today, I watched the soccer match between Senegal and Columbia. This was one of the matches that I had been looking really forward to seeing. I had a lot of faith in the Senegal team, as they have been playing very well in their previous games. In their match against Poland, they managed to win the game 2-1 and in the match against Japan, they drew 2-2.
With today's match, during the first half of the game, Senegal did not have the majority ball possession but however, managed to take more shots than Columbia. They played very well and at half time the score was still sitting at 0-0. After half time, Columbia managed to take more shots and scored a goal at the seventy fourth minute of the game.
Senegal seemed to be capable of scoring a goal before the match ended. Sadly, they did not score and at the end of the match they lost to Columbia 1-0. I was hoping that Senegal could have won and made it to the group stages but nevertheless, they still played pretty well and hopefully next time they will be better and stand a higher chance of winning.
As for Columbia, they too tried their best and played well. Columbia will be making it through to the group stages. I look forward to seeing their next game.
