The event was for my good friend Chris "The All American" Weidman" after his first UFC title a few years back. He went on to defend it 3 more times. After several mishaps and unlucky moments, he is now getting back in the conversation for another title run. I can't wait to see that happen again.
I called in my DJ and friend @jmjson to set the tone for the night. He had everyone dancing and sweating! The band Non Stop To Cairo who went to high school with Chris and I was there as well. It was a great night with many New York celebrities in attendance showing love to our hometown hero.
