That is a huge blow to San Antonio and Boston alike. It most likely ends any chance the Celtics had at reaching the NBA Finals, although many would argue they didn't have much of a chance to start with.

The Spurs always seem to find a way to rise to any challenge and overcome any adversity that comes their way. That may be the case against most teams, but Golden State is not most teams...

Golden State is one of the greatest teams of all time and seems to be clicking on all cylinders right now. That makes for one tall order.

It's sad, but this play may have single handily won his team the Western Conference Finals.

A clean sweep?

Things are looking like we could see a sweep on both sides of the playoff bracket. Which means a finals rematch of Golden State and Cleveland would come just a hair earlier this year. 

I am sure Golden State has been pining for such a rematch for 11 months now.

My prediction:

I think the Spurs figure out how to get at least one win, with or without Kawhi. Boston on the other hand, they are "gone fishin" already.
