Tennis: The Championships, Wimbledon 2017, Men's Single
On next Monday Wimbledon will start.
Who is going to win the Championships?
I. Andy Murray
Well, Andy is defending the title but I doubt that he will succeed. He lost the first round match in his last tournament before Wimbledon, missed 2 matches to prepare for the Championships and is suffering from an injury.
His draw seems fine for the first three rounds but I don't think he will make it to the final.
II. Novak Djokovic
Novak was struggling in the last months to find his form but with Andre Agassi as his new trainer and with the confidence to have reached the final in Eastbourne he will be a very strong contender for the title.
One of the big favourites to win the tournament !
III. Roger Federer
The Swiss Maestro has won the last tournament in Halle, Germany and destroyed one of the uprising stars in the final, Sascha Zverev. He has the experience, is in excellent shape and he has all the skills on grass.
Roger Federer is the big favourite for me to win the Championships !!!
IV. Rafael Nadal
Rafa is without a doubt the best player on clay who ever played the game. But Wimbledon will be played on grass and this is hurting Rafa's game especially because he has problems with his knees on this surface.
The Spaniard should beat John Millman in the first round but after that he will probably face Denis Istomin (whio beat Djokovic at the Australian Open) or uprising Russian star Karen Khachanov in the third round.
I doubt that Rafa will make it to the second week in Wimbledon.
V. Nick Kyrgios
Everyone thinks that one of the big Four will win the Championships.
If I had to choose one guy besides the big Four then it would be Nick Kyrgios, hands down.
The Australian has all the talent to be a future Wimbledon champion.
He struggled a little bit in the recent weeks but his game is perfectly fitting on the grass.
So what is your opinion? Who will win Wimbledon 2017 ?

My opinion is deffinitly Roger as Champion 2017 !
Maybe in finale againts Andy last year Champion :)
Additional Women, my opinion is Simone Halep and Venus Williams, and perhaps the German Sabine Lisikki.

are you kidding me? simona halep??? where did you get that idea? she has no chance on this surface since she relies on her defensive prowess to keep the ball in play for as long as possible. big hitters wil blow her away.. venus is a powerfull striker but i have doubts about her winning... i do wish to see what ostapenko will produce here... she was hitting 50+ winners in rolland garros, but she is young and inexpirienced... karolina pliskova and petra kvitoca are powerfull strikers, they might get far.. also azarenka is back, but her form is a mistery. also svitolina is a powerfull striker. those would be my favorites, but definetly not halep.. she is terrible on grass.

Venus has a chance in my opinion. Lisicki would be a big surprise and I doubt that she will make it to the second week. Best german lady is Angelique Kerber.
Watch out for Muguruza from Spain and Czech player Pliskova.
My personal favourite to win the title is Petra Kvitova, former Wimbledon champion...
