Dallas Mavericks Accept Bitcoin Payments

The Dallas Mavericks are now accepting bitcoin for merchandise and game tickets, making them the second NBA team to do so.

The Sacramento Kings became the first NBA team to accept Bitcoin for promotional products as well as for tickets as early as 2014.

The Mavs will use BitPay to process bitcoin payments.

Mavericks owner Mark Cuban’s has prior engagement in crypto including investments in both a digital currency hedge fund and an ICO, as well as the launch of the Ethereum-based Mercury Protocol back in August 2017.
