Over the past 24 hours, Bryce Harper and The Nationals have both updeated their relationship status on social media to "It's complicated".

As the trade deadline approached, The Nationals declared they would not trade Bryce Harper. Then they said they were accepting offers. Then they said they would not trade him.

This is the most annoying relationship since Joey and Rachel got together on Friends.

I am no expert, but I would say jerking around your star player right before he becomes a free agent is a really bad idea.

But then again, I also think Harper's hair is a bad idea so what do I know?
