Not only is Cubs pitcher Jon Lester an ace on the mound, he is also an all-star when it comes to giving advice to all you youngsters out there.
With the recent rash of players being raked over the coals for tweet really ignorant and disrespectful shit, Lester gave this advice:
"If you’re on Twitter, please spend the 5 minutes it takes to scrub your account of anything you wouldn’t want plastered next to your face on the front page of a newspaper. Better yet, don’t say stupid things in the first place. Too many young guys getting burned. "
Normally I look to Tootie from Facts of Life to provide such sage advice.
It's good to know she isn't the only one with common sense.
