My Fantasy Premier League (FPL) team - Midfielders

When considering my midfielders in my FPL fantasy.premierleague.com team, I look to get four quality players and one cheap player for the bench.

Today we are going to focus the options in Spurs midfield, here there are two viable options either Christian Eriksen or Deli Alli - both excellent options.

Both players are nailed on and rarely get rested although they both regularly get taken off towards the end of the match.

Eriksen is very much the playmaker in the team and hogs the set pieces and as a result he had 20 assists last season. He doesn't have as much goal threat but still managed 8 goals last season.

Alli has significantly more goal threat with 18 goals last season and 11 assists.

As you can see the fixtures for Spurs are a mixed bag in the first few weeks - but I don't want to be without the significant input from Eriksen or Alli.

As it stands I am going with Eriksen because if Alli or Kane score chances are Eriksen gets the assist - he also has huge bonus points potential and his consistency improved significantly over the course of the year.
