Check out the 76ers win percentage the last 10 years:
Clearly, the 76ers were stuck in mediocre-ville from 2007 to 2012. Great move by Hinkie to start the tanking process in 2012, which bottomed out in 2016. Last season, the tanking process ended. Check out the increase in win percentage from 2015-16 to 2016-17 in the graph above (~12% win rate to a ~34% win rate). This could be attributed to great coaching by Brett Brown coupled with strong play by Embiid, Saric, Covington, and McConnell. Granted, Embiid did only play 31 games.
Folks, Philadelphia has a legitimate NBA team which is only going to get better with Simmons and Fultz!
