AS Roma Official Get Maxime Gonalons

Roma - AS Roma inaugurated the recruitment of Maxime Gonalons from Lyon. Gonalons has signed a four-year contract until 2021.

Transfer agreement Gonalons done at the end of last week. The 28-year-old French midfielder was redeemed from Lyon for five million euros.

Gonalons became the fourth player to dock at the Olimpico this summer. Previously, the Giallorossi had already brought Hector Moreno [from PSV], Lorenzo Pellegrini [Sassuolo], and Rick Karsdorp [from Feyenoord].

"AS Roma is delighted to confirm the recruitment of midfielder Maxime Gonalons from French club Olympique Lyonnais," the official statement of Rome, reported by Football Italia.

"Gonalons made their international debut in November 2011, and have collected seven caps with the French team."

Gonalons is a true defensive midfielder. However, he can also be played as a central defender.

"Maxime is an international footballer, and in addition to his technical skills, we are delighted to have his experience and personality in our team, I am very glad he can welcome in Rome," Monchi told sports clubs.
