Balancing Your Muscles During Workout (Part 1)

in #sports6 years ago (edited)

Balance is the most important part of life it requires coordination of both mind and body. If we achieve balance during workout than we can also bring balance in our life. It is very complex to understand how to bring balance but it should be understood in beginning so that you do not get used to lift weight with unbalance muscle groups.

Muscle imbalance is related with posture deformity and they are not so obvious that you can notice it without paying attention. The posture depends on your daily life routine if you have correct posture of sitting and walking and lifting objects in your daily life then you will have less chances of muscle deformity. There is a need to correct the imbalance after detecting it.

Next post will be on how to bring balance in muscle groups.

You can see the people failing in this regard all time, even with a simple glance at their body.

People (males especially) often focus on the muscles they can see (chest day bro!).

This is the typical postural irregularity seen in those who practice poor exercise programming in regard to strength training. The over developed pectoral muscles of the chest shorten, causing the shoulders to internally rotate, while the underdevelopment muscles of the upper back and posterior shoulder become slack in comparison. The extensor muscles of the neck elongate to compensate for the fault occurring below them.

To add insult to injury, this is precisely the position that lots of us sit in for 8+ hours a day. So many folks are sitting in this position all day, then going to the gym and strengthening the dysfunction even further!

The devil is in the details and programming to a professional standard is key. A simple rule of thumb is to pull twice as much as you push. Get that chest opened out and shoulders externally rotating.

Good work,great post.

Being proportionate is one of the keys for a good aesthetic physique, the most important thing is to feel your muscles when you perform exercises and never put more weights than you can handle, this could lead to cheating with other parts of your body and muscle unbalances.
