Chris Paul (Rockets) is a "beast!"

        Watching Chris Paul work his magic against Portland Trailblazers is amazing.  Just a "maestro" the way he leads a team.  He  gets the ball  to the right man. Makes the correct play. The man just plays the game the way it should be played. It's like having a coach in the game.  His basketball IQ is off the chart. Plays the angles and  what incredible  handle with the ball.  His crossover is amazing.  Breaks ankles  regularly.  Can hit that mid range jumper like a lay up.  truly a great player. 

         But what makes him a beast is his remarkable defense.  It's so easy to forget that he small in stature.  This may be so, but he plays defense way bigger.  It is very rare to  see Chris Paul being embaraced  on defense. Just plays the angles and positions himself strategically.  When he goes up against a bigger guy , he makes a play on the ball before the bigger guy gets the ball up high where he can use his height to his advantage.  I love watching him play defense.  

          As if this isn't enough, he rebounds  also.  The man gets to the ball. He is just a ball hawk.  Has incredible energy and will hustle at all times. He always has hand in virtually every play both offense and defense.  A remarkable player. So glad he is a Houston Rocket. 

         Here's a prediction. If Chris Paul is healthy, the Houston Rockets will win the NBA championship!  The city of Houston will have 2 champions. Astros and  Rockets. Houston fans will go crazy.  Chris Paul will  be behind this masterpiece !
