How and Why to Bet on Colorado State Tomorrow vs Oregon State
SteemSports Presenter: Scott Frank,@scottybuckets
College Football is back tomorrow and we will tell you how and why to bet on Colorado State as they host the Oregon State Beavers. Let's start by breaking down the visiting team.
Oregon State - The Beavers had a rough 2016 and only won 4 games. They were decimated by injuries at the quarterback position and went through 3 starters. Their best offensive weapon, running back Ryan Nail, had a good season rushing for 969 yards and 13 touchdowns. He is back this year and will have to carry the load. Head Coach, Gary Andersen, is in his 3rd year and that usually means good things. He has had a few of his own recruiting classes now and his offensive game plan should be much improved. They also have 8 starters back on defense and that will be a solid unit.
Colorado State - Talented quarterback, Nick Stevens, is back after a great 2016 season. He threw 19 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions last year. Head Coach, Mike Bobo, is also entering his 3rd season. The Rams have ALL of their offensive skill players back including their top 4 running backs and top 2 wide receivers. Colorado State is the favorite to win the Mountain West Conference and their offense will be the main reason why. Their defense has 8 starters back and will be strong against the pass.
How to bet on Colorado State and Why - The current line on this game is Colorado State -3.5 or Colorado State -180 on the Money Line. Not only are the Rams a much better team, but they are also playing at home in their brand new $220 Million on campus stadium which will give them an enthused home crowd. I hate taking a favorite at -3.5 as that .5 point hook could be deadly. But I do have faith in Colorado State to win the game so I am going to bet the Money Line at -180.
Tell me who you like tomorrow and why. There are 5 games in total tomorrow and I will give you a breakdown of the South Florida at San Jose State game later. Thank you for following @steemsports and you can catch me @scottybuckets Cheers!
nice game dear i like to play this game.
Disagree on the pick. Teams more often than not need a few games up to an entire season to adapt to a new stadium feel. I argue that the stadium is going to distract the game play and the fan base has not got a feel as to how to cheer in the new seating arrangements and will focus more of their time in line to get a Fat Tire. As for OSU, they have a calm coach and a young team that built great connections last year given the situation of playing in a brutal PAC12 North. With a great rivalry booster win over the ducks, Oregon State is on the up and up and I have more concern for their play at home compared to the road. Not to say that Bobo is going to booboo this one, he still is a decent coach, but I will be taking the Oregon State Moneyline. The better choice IMO would to bet the OVER, as both teams rely on the offence to make up for the defense. Last possession wins?
BOL
2U on Oregon State University Moneyline +165
4U on OVER 61 -110
South Florida @ San Jose State
Take the First Half on South Florida as QB Flowers will bloom nicely in this one; however, I do advise only the first half in that the team will have no need to punch things higher in the second half and play the young kids versus the always developing silicon valley state.
5U First Half South Florida -13.5
58-27 Absolute Blowout Winner for Colorado State. Good call on the over! Do you have any action on Stanford/Rice?
Very amazing game football i already play this game
