Conor is a highly intelligent individual when it comes to combat. I watched his rise with many others since his debut against Marcus Brimage more than 4 years ago. When he demolished top 5 ranked Dustin Poirier in the first round with a single left hook, I knew this kid was dangerous. He is arguably the greatest featherweight of all time, he holds wins over the only two other men to have ever held the belt.
McGregor is a fierce karateka at heart. He is a sophisticated kicker with the timing and range finder of a sniper. He can land his left from any angle, and he will surely land on Floyd at some point. There are many aspects against the Notorious one in this bout, but his size, youth and confidence are the true X factors that can erase impossibility...
Conor must be himself in that ring to attain victory...if he at all tries to conform to the world Floyd sets up, he will dig his own grave. He must use what he knows best: slicing elbows, traps from southpaw (such as stepping on Floyd's lead foot), solid shots to the back of the temple. McGregor must play with the rules to even the odds, but he is intelligent enough to know this....nobody on this planet can outbox Mayweather!
From Aldo to Alvarez, Conor has usurped many thrones. He is a technician, and a storyteller in the octagon. His skills are always dazzling no matter the arena, and he will always show up to fight. The nature of McGregor is what appeals so many...his apathy to danger, and appetite for destruction.

In my humble and honest Opinion, Mcgregor doesn't have a chance agaisnt Floyd inside a boxing Ring! there a lot of one million dollar bets in favor of Floyd, people are not that Dumb. Mcgregor is a Great Fighter and Athlete but Boxing is another thing.

Mayweather will be giving McGregor a BeatDown, along with a Big Check.
Mayweather will not be able to get a Knock-Out.
McGregor, the fighter, will not be able to lay a glove on Mayweather, the boxer.
By the 3rd round, McGregor will be mad, but not mad enough to keep from getting that check.
By the 7th round, McGregor will only see
$$ D O L L A R $$ $$ S I G N S $$, and want to get that check.
By the 10th round, McGregor will be done and Mayweather will be dancing for joy and money.
Floyd says he's gonna go after Conor though. I'm hoping he does, otherwise we'll get a boring fight. Also if Floyd goes in aggressive he might make a mistake and leave himself open to one of Conor's counters.
Slightly unrelated question: Anyone know if Conor can feint a kick or a knee during the fight.
It is in the fight contract that McGregor can be sued for kicking, so I don't think Mayweather will be fooled by the feint. Though if McGregor did, it would be in "Money's" financial interests to make sure it lands. Disqualification and financial damages. An easy night's work.
Lets hope Mayweather has lost some of his "sharpness" and McGregor is able to land one of his trademark mma punch. I love to see underdogs defying the odds and doing something special in any sports.
