German crew in top WRC machinery for the first time after five years
Hi, Steemers!
Armin Kremer is very well known German driver with great experience. Last seasons he drove Škoda Fabia R5 WRC2 category with the help of private Austrian BRR team (owner is Raimund Baumschlager, ex-works VW driver).
Škoda Fabia R5 WRC2 category
Kremer drove top WRC machinery back in years. His crash with Ford Focus WRC in 2002 WRC Deutchland ADAC Rallye was horrible and we all have it in our minds and when somebody says Kremer, first thought in my mind is about that crash.
Kremer was happy to be alive after horrific accident
Now he will again be behind the wheel of Ford at the same rally but this time with Fiesta WRC 2017. He must be entered as M-Sport official driver (FIA rules). First tests are expected soon (or maybe done already in privacy).
Ford Focus WRC days
Kremer drove Subaru, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford and Škoda cars.
Subaru Impreza WRC
Toyota Corolla WRC
Ford Fiesta R5 WRC2 category
Armin has history of big crashes (which is normal in motorsport) but this one is epic:

Kremer is happy with this chance. We will see how it goes in August at WRC Deutchland Rallye.
