New year, new things!

Yesterday, we kicked off our first meeting of 2018 - the year where SportsPodium is going to go live and put paid to our promise to level the playing field and disrupt the corruption, bring clarity to the cloudy murky and unfair flow of money in sports - and put the athletes and not the officials back on the podium.

Sometimes my colleagues have a hard time to muzzle me and try stop me from wanting to tell you everything we have in store for you as our community and our supporters. But I am going to cautiously promise that we are going to blow your minds.

Technology, like athletic sports, are about motion and moving. When we started SportsPodium we had plans to do certain things that would bring transparency and fairness to sport. Then we realized we can inject the fun back for the sports fans and in the process our vision and the bigger picture evolved into something far greater than what we initially expected.

By the time of the Paris Olympics, we plan to be the global leader in our field - and remember this blog when that happens, because YOU are going to be able to say "I had the vision to see their potential and I was part of growing this global community when it was a start up." - moments you can tell your children and grandchildren later on in your life.

Much as I want to spill the beans and tell you how we use going to make good on our promise to the sporting world and you as our community, it would be madness to throw our secrets out into the whirlwind and risk someone else steal our ideas and give the world a duller and diluted version. This means you are going to have to trust us. - Much like an athlete has to trust the coach.

SportsPodium is ahead of the curve - and honoured and faithful follower - so are you. Take great pride in being a visionary, in a few months when this project and platform is live you are going to have your proverbial podium moment where you can fist pump the air with your anthem in your ears soaking up the applause when you see us on global television, knowing that you were part from the start.

So. Here's to 2018. And SportsPodium. And you. And the values and virtues we stand for. It is going to be flippen AWESOME. Yes there may be brief moments of wanting to pull your hair out in the process, but trust us. Believe in us as a team, in SportsPodium as a project and in the disruption and change that we are going to bring.

We are a team of winners and experts putting this platform together. We hate BS, we hate over promising and under delivering. We can't abide and won't stand for bullying. We won't be screwed over. And neither will you. Or the sports world. Because THESE are the reasons why we launched this project. Good things take time. Foundations has to be dug deep to ensure that SportsPodium is solid and there as a rock and a breakwater against a tide of unfairness, inequality and just plain old cheating athletes out of income they deserve. Our PODs are going to change the game. Forever.
