The AEK was stronger rival for Celtic, than Scots expected. Brendan Rogers's team hasn't managed to win on the home field against the champion of Greece therefore now "Celts" should get the necessary result on a visit, despite of mind-blowing support of stands.
AEK
Initially bookmakers in this opposition by the favourite considered Celtic. After all Scots last year have reached a group stage and rather not bad there have acted. But the AEK has proved that not for nothing he in last season for the first time for 24 years has won the champion's title. Ozunidis's team didn't give way in anything to the Scottish grandee and has even stood on his field more than 30 minutes in minority.
Though in off-season of AEK differed in nothing special. Unless has won in a friendly match against Galatasaray - 3:2. But with a Cypriot AEK and Atromis Greeks have played a goalless draw, and "Medzi" have lost – 0:1.
CELTIC
Celtic has a season already in the heat. "Celts" have managed to play two rounds in the championship and also to pass two rounds in qualification of the Champions League. In the first of them Scots had no problems. Rogers's wards have twice crushed Alashkert - 3:0 and 3:0. But with Rosenborg to Celtic it was already more difficult: 3:1 and 0:0. This time Brendan Rogers's team has even offered the championship in which I have lost Hearts - 0:1. Therefore in a guest duel with АЕК it is worth expecting quite powerful game from guests.
