McDavid collides with a referee and it sets up a great scoring chance for the Canucks. Not good. These younger referees in the league seem to have long memories. I’ve never seen McDavid as a yapper, but it seems like he doesn’t get as many calls as he should.

Canucks just aren’t the same without Pettersson, especially on the PP. No surprise. I’m surprised bloggers here haven’t talked about him more.

Tough game for Caleb Jones. He coughed up the puck on a Canucks goal, took a dumb penalty and got hammered behind the Canucks net late in the third

Ben Hutton scores, then it gets disallowed on the cosch’s Challenge on on offside. Am I the only one who can’t stand this rule? Just keep the challenge for goalie interference!

The Oilers haven’t won in Vancouver since April of 2017. Pretty unbelievable for a team with Connor McDavid.
