Early signing day disaster for the Seminoles
Ever since I was a child I have been a fan of Florida State Football. This includes the glory of the 1990’s to the doldrums of the lost decade in the 2000’s.
Willie Taggart took over last year and the Noles struggled to find their rhythm on offense. Couple that with a ton of injuries on the offense and you’ve got a recipe for a long year.
With early signing day(week) going on now the Seminoles had a chance to hold together as good of a recruiting class as possible after their losing record last year.
Here are some of the biggest names that FSU missed out on:
- Sam Howell: Quarterback that chose UNC
- Kayvon Thibodeaux: DE who chose Oregon
- Will Putnam: OL who chose Clemson
- Derick Hunter: DE who flipped to Texas A&M
I hope Willie can salvage the class and use it to build upon for next year. Otherwise, his time in Tallahassee may be limited.
