"Maybe someday we'll all wear the 42, so they will not differentiate us"

April 15, 1947, a date that marks history, not only for baseball, but for the society in which we live and the struggle that for many years made invaluable people to end racism.

Jackie Robinson gets the opportunity to be the first black baseball player to play in the big leagues with the Dodgers, at that time in Brooklyn and beyond what he represented as a player, I want to talk about his value as a person.

That's why I title this note with the famous phrase of Pee Wee Reese, one of those people who dedicated his life to improve the lives of others, even if it is the lives of a few.

Through sport these people made decisions that changed the society in which we live and any tribute we can make is small for the audacity they had at that time.

Seeing the thirty teams using the number 42 makes me understand how crucial they were and it is impossible not to be proud.
