Youth Football Team Disrespects 🇺🇸

Protests against the National Anthem aren't just going on against the NFL. A youth football team kneeled during the National Anthem and turned away from the Flag and the sports and political worlds are going crazy, and justifiably so.

A 25 person team of Pee Wee football players followed in Colin Kaepernick's footsteps and refused to honor the 🇺🇸 in St. Louis. The team is made up of 8 year old and under children, most of whom are in second and third grade. There is no way that these young children decided to do this on their own. No eight year olds are that political. These children are being used by adults to make a political statement, and it is shameful.

What message are the adults sending to these children? Teaching our youth to disrespect the main symbol of our great country, the 🇺🇸 , is disgusting and absurd. Teaching children that America is illegitimate is awful. These children are the future and should be taught to respect the Flag, the National Anthem, the brave men and women in our military, and all first responders, including the police.

These coaches that orchestrated this should be ashamed of themselves. If my child was on that team, I would have walked on the field and taught him to stand up, face the Flag, and give it the respect that it deserves. An 8 year old on the football field should be taught teamwork, hustle, friendship, and respect. But the only thing this Youth Football Team was taught is DISRESPECT.
