Chicago Cubs SWEEP the St. Louis Cardinals
The Chicago Cubs won 4-3 today against the St. Louis Cardinals and completed the weekend sweep! The hopes of the Cardinals winning the Central Division are over as is their season.
The Cubs on the other hand, are looking good as they try and make a run at the World Series for the second straight year. They have 13 regular season games left and hold a 4 game lead on the second place Milwaukee Brewers.
Anthony Rizzo and company can enjoy a day off tomorrow. The Cubs will start a series on Tuesday against the Tampa Bay Rays who have nothing left to play for. This will be a good couple weeks to get some players some much needed rest and get the pitchers set up for a big postseason run.
Do the Cubs have what it takes to get back to the World Series? Are they destined to have a rematch against the dominate Cleveland Indians? Let me know what you think. Cheers!
Thank you very beautiful information
