LIVERPOOL TRANSFER NEWS LIVE: NABY KEITA PLUS PHILIPPE COUTINHO TO BARCA

Tursday July 24

00:15: Liverpool will only let Mamadou Sakho join Crystal Palace on a permanent deal as opposed to a loan, reports claim.

Sakho, who fell out with Jurgen Klopp last summer after a misdemeanour during a pre-season tour, shone during his loan spell at Palace.

The Reds are looking to recoup as much as possible for the Frenchman.

And now according to the Daily Mirror, the Eagles will have to pay £30million should they wish to sign Sakho.

Liverpool, the Mirror adds, will only entertain the option of a permanent move, even though at the moment, Palace are exploring taking him on for one more season.

22:40: Arsenal and Liverpool are both keeping tabs on Leicester star Riyad Mahrez's situation.

The Daily Mail claim Liverpool and Arsenal have asked to be kept informed of any developments with the Algerian pushing for a move.

Roma have already seen their attempts to sign him rejected with the Foxes holding out for close to £50m.

20:15: Hull and Watford are in an £8m fight for Liverpool flop Lazar Markovic.

The Daily Star claim Jurgen Klopp will cash in on the 22-year-old this summer.

And Hull and Watford are the two clubs showing the most interest with both clubs keen to land the attacking winger.

17:51: Liverpool could still sign midfielder Naby Keita this summer, according to the bookies.

Keita has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer after a stunning debut campaign at RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga.

Sky Sports reported over the weekend that Leipzig have ruled out the possibility of selling the 22-year-old, having already rejected three offers from Liverpool.

But bookmakers Betfair have priced Liverpool as 6/4 favourites to get a deal for the Guinea international over the line before the summer window shuts.

German champions Bayern Munich are considered as huge outsiders to sign Keita at odds of 33/1, while a Leipzig stay can be found at 1/2.
