Iowa needs to replace Thorpe-Award Finalist Josh Jackson, who led the nation in INTs last year with 8. He burst onto the spot-light with 3 picks against Ohio State this past year in their shocking 55-24 route of the Buckeyes. Brown fits the build of the typical Big-Ten corner. At 6'0" 180lbs he's not too short, but also not too tall as to give away athleticism and quickness. His ranking isn't very high, but that doesn't really matter in the right scheme. Jackson wasn't a highly ranked recruit either, and he didn't really play in either of his first two years at Iowa. Brown could be similar, he's athletic, and could sit for a year or two and develop before getting an opportunity to help re-establish Iowa's secondary.
