Mayweather Let Down

The most anticipated fight of the year was such a dud that it ended with deserved boos all around. Mayweather as usual didn't break a sweat and Logan Paul, who previously lost against another YouTuber went the distance with one of the best boxers of all time.

So, looks like both sides of the bet got a push. There was no knockout and so the only winners were probably the bookies who got a good float for a couple of weeks.

My thoughts on boxing is that it has become a joke of a sport from its heyday in the 80s and 90s. That they're resorting to fight YouTubers is a sign that it hasn't caught the attention of the younger crowd.

MMA is where the excitement is and it will be interesting to see if the Paul brothers will step in the octagon. My guess is that they won't despite being wrestlers. Why is that?

Simply because the possibility of real damage is a serious possibility. Anyway, on to the next bet.
