Dilly Duka will try to restart his professional soccer career in his family’s homeland. The former midfielder of the New York Red Bulls, Columbus Crew and Montreal Impact in the MLS has signed a contract with the 15 times Albanian Superliga champions, Partizani Tirana.
The 29 year-old was lately recovered from an ankle injury which he suffered back in the beginning of 2018 and has kept himself busy in the last months by playing with the New Jersey's FC Motown of the fourth-tier National Premier Soccer League.
Signed on for a 6 month contract with Partizani Tirana after a successful one week trial, which was enough to convince the coach Skënder Gega, the former assistant coach the U.S. Under-17 women’s national team and Seton Hall University.
Duka, a New Jersey native of Albanian origin has appeared in 145 league and playoff appearances during his MLS career, scoring 13 goals and recording 14 assists. He has also appeared for the U.S. under-20 and under-23 national teams.
