2017 NFL Schedule Released: Patriots vs Chiefs on Opening Night

The Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots will kick off the 2017 season with a Thursday night tussle against the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL season will officially kick off September 7th at 8:30pm.

The last time the Chiefs and Patriots faced off in a season opener, I was in attendance. The Patriots had come off a disappointing 18-1 season, but true disappointment was just around the corner. During the first half, Tom Brady famously had his ACL torn by safety Bernard Pollard.

To be safe, I don't think I'll attend this one.
