it's about pride Indonesian racers in F1. namely Rio Haryanto, he was born in Solo, Central Java, January 22, 1993; age 23 years. is an Indonesian national rider who is now racing in Formula One with the team Manor Racing. As the first Indonesian rider to race in the GP2 Series level, Rio has a huge support base. Rio also is the first Indonesian rider in history to try out a Formula One car. He was also named as one young rider that could potentially be representative of Asia in Formula One in the future.

In 2011, Rio participated in the event the GP3 Series with the team Marussia Manor Racing and Auto GP series with team DRIOT-Arnoux Motorsport (DAMS). He started his career in racing karts in 2002 with the National Karting Champion cadet class.

On February 18, 2016, Manor Racing as F1 racing team, officially announced Rio Haryanto be riders to accompany Pascal Wehrlein 2016 season. Rio and become the first Indonesian riders who take part in the prestigious event. so far he has been good in his first season.
now half of the season was over. all riders take a rest, but Rio is still struggling to find additional funds for him to survive in Tim manor. Yes, Rio must find funds amounting to 7.5 million euros in order to maintain the drivers seat Manor. If not, he threatened to end the season faster where Manor will search for new drivers.
